Location
Blue Box is located in St Denys, approximately 5km
(3 miles) north of Southampton city centre, opposite Bitterne Park on the River Itchen.
Due to its proximity to the Southampton Solent University and University of Southampton campuses it is a popular location for students. There is an abundance of takeaway restaurants, an ALDI supermarket close by and many venues catering for students.
Along with neighbouring Portswood, St Denys is increasingly seen as home to Southampton’s burgeoning music scene, with many venues now offering regular live music and opportunities for local musicians as well as nationally acclaimed acts.
