How long can I stay in my accommodation?

You can stay in your accommodation for the duration of your studies, if not defined otherwise in your tenancy agreement.

Is there single sex accommodation?

The studios are designed for single occupancy only, for all genders.

Can I view my accommodation before moving in?

Yes, if the apartment is vacant. If not we will endeavour to show you a similar studio flat.

When do I pay my accommodation fees?

Payment will be required when you reserve your studio flat.

How much will it cost and when will I have to pay?

Please refer to the pricing list. You can pay a full year in advance if your finances allow. If not you will be required to pay a Deposit equal to 3 months rent and 1 months’ rent in advance. Your deposit will be protected via for which we are registered.

What is included in my rent?

All utility bills and Wi-Fi internet access are included in your rent.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring everything that is not a permanent fixture to the studio flat e.g. we provide the bed but you will need to bring your bedding. However, if you wish to bring your own bed/mattress please notify us of this at the time of securing the studio flat.

Is there anything I should not bring?

Heaters, fridges, microwaves and cookers are provided, so there is no need to bring your own. If you want to bring any other electrical items e.g. kettles, slow cookers, etc. you will need to ensure they have been PAT tested. Candles are strictly not permitted within our properties.

Can I connect to the Internet in my room?

Yes, we have free Wi-Fi internet. For further details please visit wifi details page.

What about insuring my possessions?

You are responsible for organising your own insurance. You might want to notify your insurance company that there is a video entry system to the building and that each studio flat has its own security entry code which could potentially reduce the costs of your insurance. There is also CCTV in operation to the common parts.

Do I need a television licence?

It is your responsibility to get a TV Licence.

Can I bring a pet?

No, we do not allow any animals, reptiles or household pets within our properties.

Can I bring my car or motorcycle?

There will be on-site parking for your motorcycle but not for your car. There is however car parking available within the local area, opposite the BlueBox.

Can I bring a bicycle?

Yes, communal bicycle storage is provided on-site, however we would advise that you bring your own lock for added security.

What about security and welfare?

CCTV is operating throughout the communal areas to both buildings and each studio flat has its own security code.

Can I have guests to stay in my room?


Is there a cleaning service?

There is a cleaning service in place for all Communal areas; however it is each and everyone’s responsibility to keep those areas clean and tidy at all times. The cleaning of your studio flat is purely your responsibility.

Is there a launderette on site?

There is an on-site launderette available to use for a small fee.

What re-cycling arrangements are available on site?

A refuse store is allocated in Block 1 for all tenants to use.

Where do I collect my mail?

We provide a letter box per studio flat which is located near the main entrance of your block. It is your responsibility to check your letter box for mail on a regular basis.
